Dhoom Machaale

Dhoom is currently rockin da charts. Ther r many ppl sayin dat its a waste of time .... lot extra action shown .... Abhishekh, Ash n Uday look bad ..... Extra importance to Hrithik n such stuff. I partially agree wid them, buut hey ppl stop pickin out flaws n jus Njoy da movie for gods sake. Hrithik is lookin good in da movie n also in da title track. Man is burning up da box office. Ya i like him but not in GAY way.

Posting da Lyrics of da classy Title track down here.

Lyrics Dhoom Again

dhoom again and run away with me
on a rollercoaster ride

you know that ain't no crime
so steal all that you can
the magic you begun
let's shout,break out
comes on once againlets hear it
dhoom machaale.........

dhoom againand feel the beat of
the rythem
rythem of the night
dhoom again and hear the voices
calling
creatures of the night
dhoom again and see the shadows
dancing
in the pale moonlight
dhoom againa and feel your
heartbeat pumping
now the time is right
so go walk out the door
get down....get on the floor
let's shout break out
come on once again let's hear it
dhoom machale

and when love comes your way
you'll know its here to stay
you'll steal the chance 'cose you're
the thief of hearts yeah
you'll win with a galance
walk away with your romance

set your spirit free
dhoom again anf take a break right
now

Da Game of Life

Yesterday i was travellin by trains as ever to my college. Da ol rush, same slowly treading trains n da odd argument. Evrything normal as ever. As da train almost reached my destination (Nerul), it slowed down n all of a sudden came to a stop. I wondered wht was wrong. I cud see da platform hardly 30 steps ahead n da train had stopped. As usual i n my frenz had a lot of words for da motorman n Indian railways. After a 20 min. long wait da train started n reached da platform.

There i came to knw da reason for da delay. As our train reached da station, Some fate bitted man had committed suicide in front of our train. V had never thought of this while bad mouthin da Indian Railways for da delay.

Wht mus hve provoked dat man to take such an extreme step. I've jus assumed da person to b a man, v did not wait to chk da gender. This incident left me thinking .... is life this tough? I m jus being introduced to life n will i b able to face these peace sucking life?

Da man had to have gr8 amount of courage n wud have been gr8ly frustrated frm life to have taken such a step. Yes i have started thinking about life, after dat incident n dat has effected me somewht. If u think not to take it seriously it wont affect u, but i m thinking... hmm. Life at its best.

Some one has said perfectly ... Life always has a last laugh.

Try n be a Passive Smoker

Quitting smoking is da toughest (i mean it) , da most toughest job in this world. Ask a smoker if he wants to quit n he'll tell u sum very good reasons for not doin so.

I asked 1 of my frenz da same question n out came da reply .... "Well, Fucking increases 4 mins of ur life & Smoking decreases 4 mins ... so its best to be a Fucking Smoker", hmm sounds quite intellectual. On a serious note smoking is not only hazardous for those sipping it out of da filter, but also for thopse standing arnd him. For Gods sake those ppl don even have a filter. So i say if u wanna smoke try doin it directly, instead da passive maner.

Jus try n quit smoking if it is possible ..... but i don think its dat easy ........ huh ?

Merry Christmas

"Jingle Bells

Jingle Bells

Jingle all the way

Santaclaus is comin around ridin on a sledge ....."

This n many such carols r hrd been recited round da town, coz Christmas is here. This
festival has its own flavour. Dramas on Birth of Jesus Christ being performed in schools,
sweets n cakes addin their own flavour n da most important Santaclaus wid his Gifts.

In many countries of the world, the celebration of Christmas on December 25th is a high
point of the year. From November onwards, it is impossible to forget that Christmas is
coming. Coloured lights decorate many town centres and shops, along with shiny decorations,
and artificial snow painted on shop windows.

'Father Christmas' (or 'Santa Claus') has become the human face of Christmas. Pictures will
be seen everywhere of the old man with long white beard, red coat, and bag of toys. Children
are taught that he brings them presents the night before Christmas. Father Christmas is
based on a real person, St. Nicholas, which explains his other name 'Santa Claus' which
comes from the Dutch 'Sinterklaas'.

Well dats sum really rockin info abt da rolickin festival. If u ask me i jus wait for dis
festival to eat the so very delicious Wine Cake. Neways jus enjoy .... wishin u all MERRY
CHRISTMAS.

Fat Bastard

Obesity ............... da biggest problem in every individuals life. Da other day i was shopping at Inorbit n i saw this young guy (aged arnd 26 - 28) wid this wonderful lookin trunk. N it was seriusly a protruding one, quite visible. My frenz had a witfull comment fo him. But on second thoughts u get to see dat dis is problm of obesity is actually getting us.

V speak abt da increased awareness of fitness in our society. But even da Devil of obesity is crouchin upon us. Doctors say dat Indians r more prone to 'Trunkal Obesity'.The problem of obesity in urban Indians is almost similar to those in the US although the urban Indians are not as diabetic a new study says.As Indians are becoming affluent, there is change in their
lifestyle, diet and physical activity quite akin to the ‘super-urban’ lifestyles of US.

Well i wont rite much abt dis thing, but yes i've tried in my small way to promote or show a social hazzard which is comin upon us.

Tom n Jerry

The other day i was sittin at my place gettin bored as ever coz of so my very elongated vacations. Totally buzzed off even frm my PC, I decided to switch on da Idiot Box for a change. It was featuring its regular saas - bahu sagas n i already had a headache so jus continued to browse thru da channels. I jus happened to stop in a Cartoon channel by a rolickingly funny duo [Tom & Jerry].

Tom & Jerry simply da name makes heads to rise. Its tough to find ppl almost newhere round da world who are still to experience da magic of this comic duo. William Hanna & Joseph Barbera wer da ppl who created this duo. Jerry running arnd bein chased by Tom throughout da house is always a scene to watch. Even today while browsing da channels if I get to see dis duo automatically remote stops at it.

Rite frm my chlidhod days i've continued to watch these guys. I've seen other chasing cartoons like da Roadrunner show. But those cud never match up this one. These 2 comic duo continue to entertain ppl aver the world irrespective of their age. I've seen my 45 yr old uncle sit up n watch it. I as child I thought dat 'Hanna Barbera' was a sibngle name, which is a lady. But ofcourse now i knw much better.

This duo has - is - n will continue to entertain ppl ..... Hats off to Hanna Barbera.

Try to Pot aal the balls Bfor TIME UP

Govinda on the run wid ..... Bhagam Bhag

Govinda has seen it all - rite frm da rockin days of "no.1" films to da low down days of movies like Ek aur Ek Gyarah & Rajaji. This super actor is makin a comeback after a not so good run in politics with solid movie "Bhagam Bhag". The release of 'Bhagam Bhag' Friday comes as a birthday gift for Govinda. The Congress MP from Mumbai North will be hoping to hit bull's eye with the film, directed by Priyadarshan.

The Comedy King entered the film industry as a dancing actor and came to be known as Virar ka chokra, literally "Guy from Virar". Despite the failure of his movies at the box office in the past three years and subsequent shift to politics, the actor is all set to make a comeback this Friday with what he is best at- comedy.

He played the lead cast in many comedies in the 1990s, often alongside actresses such as Karishma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon. The "No.1" flics which displayed his chemistry n partnership wid da classy director David Dhavan.

In 2004, Govinda made his foray into politics. He joined the Congress Party, and was elected to the Lok Sabha from Mumbai (North) with a thumping majority defeating the five-time sitting MP Ram Naik by a huge margin of votes. But this stint wid politics was quite a forgetable one. And now v get to hear dat this MP frm Mumbai North, who has no time to attend Parliament or for constituency issues, has given the clearest indication that he's readty to quit active politics.

This common man's actor has come a long way and will surely make a rockin comeback. Don worry Govinda "Hum Aap ke Saath hai" ...

Two Big guns goin down da memory lane...

Jus read da news in pprs dat da two biggies of Austrailian Cricket - Shane warne & Glen McGrath. These two guys have played a very important role in shaping up da foundation of so very dreaded Austrailian Team. Cricket Austrailia may not require these guys ne more but they wer da stepping stones for da Austarilian prowess.

After bowling Australia to Ashes victory over England, leg-spinner Shane Warne and fast bowler Glen McGrath could announce retirement after the end of the series, reports here said Wednesday.

Cricket will suffer for the imminent departure of Warne as said by the cricketing gr8 Sir Richard Hadlee. Absoulutely perfect for those of u who think he is jus another player. Jus chk dis out. Shane Keith Warne (born September 13, 1969 Victoria, Austrailia). He is a well recognized as the greatest leg spin bowler in cricket history. Warne made his first class cricket debut on 15 February 1991, taking 0/61 and 1/41 for Victoria against Western Austrailia at the Junction Oval in Melbourne.

On December 20th 2006, it was announced that Warne would hold a press conference on December 21st 2006 concerning his retirement from test cricket after the conclusion of the 2006 Ashes Series between Austrailia and England. In the press conference, Warne said that it was his intention to "go out on top". He said that he might have retired after the 2005 Ashes series, had Australia won. And now as Austrailia are already in lead with 3-0 he is almost sure to retire.Warne has 699 wickets from 143 Test and is poised to become the first to reach the once-unimaginable 700 mark when the fourth Ashes test starts in his hometown of Melbourne Tuesday.

McGrath is third on the all-time list of wicket-takers behind Warne and Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan -, but with 555 victims from 122 matches, he is the leading fast bowler. The 36-year-old fast bowler has been troubled by injuries in the past few seasons and took 10 months off to care for his ill wife and came back in the Champions Trophy in India.

Even if Cricket Austarilia keeps on churning new players everyday, no one can replace these 2 playing icons. Damien Martyn has also announced his retirement after da first test. This is gonna be a big setback for Austarilia. Still they will have these players not playing but in their thinking tank.

Blu Ray - da Blu Ray Disc

Blu-ray, also known as Blu-ray Disc (BD), is the name of a next-generation optical disc format jointly developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA), a group of the world's leading consumer electronics, personal computer and media manufacturers (including Apple, Dell, Hitachi, HP, JVC, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, TDK and Thomson). The format was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data. The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and can hold up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc. This extra capacity combined with the use of advanced video and audio codecs will offer consumers an unprecedented HD experience. While current optical disc technologies such as DVD, DVD±R, DVD±RW, and DVD-RAM rely on a red laser to read and write data, the new format uses a blue-violet laser instead, hence the name Blu-ray. Despite the different type of lasers used, Blu-ray products can easily be made backwards compatible with CDs and DVDs through the use of a BD/DVD/CD compatible optical pickup unit. The benefit of using a blue-violet laser (405nm) is that it has a shorter wavelength than a red laser (650nm), which makes it possible to focus the laser spot with even greater precision. This allows data to be packed more tightly and stored in less space, so it's possible to fit more data on the disc even though it's the same size as a CD/DVD. This together with the change of numerical aperture to 0.85 is what enables Blu-ray Discs to hold 25GB/50GB. Blu-ray is currently supported by more than 170 of the world's leading consumer electronics, personal computer, recording media, video game and music companies. The format also has broad support from the major movie studios as a successor to today's DVD format. Seven of the eight major movie studios have already announced titles for Blu-ray, including Warner, Paramount, Fox, Disney, Sony, MGM and Lionsgate. The initial line-up is expected to consist of over 100 titles and include recent hits as well as classics such as Batman Begins, Desperado, Fantastic Four, Fifth Element, Hero, Ice Age, Kill Bill, Lethal Weapon, Mission Impossible, Ocean's Twelve, Pirates of the Caribbean, Reservoir Dogs, Robocop, and The Matrix. Many studios have also announced that they will begin releasing new feature films on Blu-ray Disc day-and-date with DVD, as well as a continuous slate of catalog titles every month.

Yeh hai Kabul ..... najaaa

A hot tuesday afternoon n me wid my pals decided to watch da new movie on da block "Kabul Express". I had no facinations or expectations abt dis one, but still had heard dat it was good movie. So 5 frens ended up at Thakur Cinema ..... now owned by Fame, so Fame Thakur. Well, even after bein taken over by FAme it still dons da same ol look. Now, comin back to da film. My personel opinion is dat its a "Theek Thaak" movie. Not a big impressive one.

A Bolyywood movie ranging for 2 hrs, without ne songs, dat sounds a bit wierd. Accept RGV not many ppl have treid dis formula. But Kabul tries dis one. Again u get to see da dam Yash Raj logo. Man these guys r producing almost 80% of da films, does Bolyywood mean YR Films? C'Mon wher r da other ppl.

The movie is in da OK category. Ofcourse not matching the so called Hip generated behind it. Arshad Varsi continues to impress, & has a couple of killer one liners for da bored audience. John Abraham & Linda Arsenio r simple in da movie for their looks. No charcterisation or place to show their skills. Salman Shahid and Hanif Humghum are quite good.

The story revolves around 2 journalist (John & Arshad - da cameraman) who have landed up in Afghanistan post 7/11 for an exclusive story. Their is however no justification as to how n why they jus end up here through a helicopter without ne guide & how do they only find a single journalist dats da American conterpart in a place which is full of "Breaking News". These Indian journalist end up being taken hostage.

Apart frm couple of scenes da movie fails to grip public attention. You don see ppl walking out of da movie, but dats coz da movie is hardly for 2 hrs. However, Kabir Khan has told a story from his heart, and what is important is that his heart is in the right place.

All in all a good movie with O performances. However I was not satisfied while walking out of fame Thakur. It was not worth spending my precious afternoon for this thing.

Daman Roxx

Jus had a wonderful trip down Daman. N i jus thought of writing down sum of da gr8 memories.
Well normally when v hear Daman a lot of eyebrows wud hve gone up. "What kind of place is Daman for a picnic" ..... well yes dats wht sum of us had on our minds. However things totally changed when v actually reached there.

If u r planning to enjoy Daman with sum ol gentle pals then jus fugget it. To enjoy in Daman u require 12 totaly insane maniacs. Reachin Daman was a gr8 experience in itself. Mumbai to Vapi by train was 3 1/2 hrs journey costing a mere Rs.50 (ofcourse its da general compartment with its own flavour). Vapi to Daman is a half hr drive in a very royal ST.

Reach there n u hve 2 choices Nani (small) Daman & Moti (big) Daman seperated by a classy bridge. If u wanna experience actuall beach feel then Jambor Beach in Moti Daman is the choice. The other beach Devga Beach situated in Nani Daman is a rocky beach. Even this has its own different touch to it.

A special thing n most important thing to Daman is dat Liquior is available for almost half da price. Beer - Rs. 35 , Vodka - Rs. 42. n da list continues ... If u really wanna good deal jus chk da government outlet.

Too many things to speak abt n such a small place to wright. One more striking feature of Daman is da use of Ambi (Ambassador) as a taxi. These forgotten vehicles are still used n also loved by their owners. One of those was inquisitive n asked us abt da reason to land up in Damn for a trip. We in our style evne took his case.

I know very well dat I m not a gr8 writer but hve tried to put in best possible words. In true sense Daman rocks ..... but if u hve 12 maniacs along wid u.

Quote da Quoter

"To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe."

New Virus against Symantec

A worm is attacking personal computers via a known flaw in popular antivirus software from Symantec Corp, as hackers make the unusual move of using a non-Microsoft product to infiltrate PCs.
eEye Digital Security, an Aliso Viejo, California, vulnerability-management company, said it discovered the worm, which it dubbed "Big Yellow", late on Thursday in its "honeypot", a network for collecting malicious programs. A Symantec spokesperson wasn't immediately available for comment.
Big Yellow enters machines through a security hole in the remote management interface of versions of Symantec AntiVirus and Symantec Client Security to take complete control of the computer.
Once infected with the worm's malicious "bot" program, the PC can be networked by an attacker with other computers in a "botnet" and used to attack others on the internet.
eEye urged corporate information-technology departments to fix the flaw, which eEye discovered in late May, using a patch issued by Symantec at that time. It also said network operators should take steps to deploy overdue security patches for other non-Microsoft applications.
"Many IT departments have not yet deployed this patch, as heretofore they have not considered their desktop security applications as a point of vulnerability," eEye said in a press release.
"IT urgently needs to understand that the new vector for attack will not come from Microsoft, but from the myriad applications that are scattered throughout its network."
